Absolute Water Reverse Osmosis Water Systems in Polokwane
Reverse Osmosis systems excel at removing water impurities, it uses a partially permeable membrane that removes ions, unwanted molecules and larger unwanted particles & bacteria from drinking water. Reverse Osmosis is used in both industrial processes and for household water use.
How does Reverse Osmosis Water Systems work?
Our reverse osmosis systems use a process of passing water at high pressure through a semi-permeable membrane removing large and unwanted particles from the water, retaining pure and safe drinking water.
The first stage of the Reverse Osmosis Unit filters out large suspended particles such as sand, rust, and silt through a spray-melted polypropylene sediment filter. The second filter which is a Granular Activated Carbon Filter (GAC) reduces the chlorine, hydrogen sulfide and heavy metals in water, improving the taste and the odor of water.
Stage three consists of a Block Carbon Filter which further reduces the amount of chlorine, radon and heavy metals from the water improving its absorptive capacity and efficiency before the water is passed through the Reverse Osmosis Membrane. As the water passes through stage 4, the Reverse Osmosis Membrane, very fine particles are extruded from the water and discharged out through the drainage pipe, retaining filtered.
The water which then passes stage 5 for Taste & Odour Reduction, removing the remaining amounts of chlorine and Heavy Metals improving the taste and removing any bad smell from the water. Pure water is then stored in a Reverse Osmosis Storage Tank and dispensed through an RO Faucet mounted on top of the counter or zinc for easy access to the purified water.
Optional to a normal 5 Stage Reverse Osmosis Unit is a 6th filter, the Mineral Injector, which replenishes the water with a variety of essential minerals that improve the quality and taste of the water making it beneficial for human consumption.
